THE WRIGHT FAMILY

THE PASSION TO INSPIRE.

Life Has Changed Dramatically.

I had a Tough life ever since I was Born. I Didn't know who I was, Didn't know what I was doing, and I didn't know what was going on. I have been thru Abuse and was Neglected by an Adoptive family that adopted me from Asia. After Years of Abuse and Neglect I was given away to a Foster home in Kansas City who also abused and neglected children. I wasn't the only child in the home going thru the horror of what was really happening. Everything Changed July 29th of 2011 when 8 kids including me were taken out of the horror from The FBI, Child Services, and local police. They took us to a Facility where we stayed until they figured something out for all of us. After 7 days all the Foster Brothers were starting to Separate and move on to either other facilities, back to their families, or somewhere some of us did not like. I was transferred to Ozanam in Kansas City where I was for the next 2 and half years. While i was there I met a person who was like a mentor to me. After getting out of Ozanam and moving to a Group Home, Rickie Wright wanted to start mentoring me. Months after mentorship He decided to pursue an official adoption of me and asked me to be his official son on December 25th of 2013. After a year and half I was officially Named THE SON OF RICKIE WRIGHT on March 3rd of 2015. I am Now ELIJAH A.J. WRIGHT. Its been a Year since the official adoption and this first year as a official family came with ups and downs but at the end of the day we still love each other as Father like Son. I am a lucky kid who was given a SECOND chance at life.
